About Us
The American Association of Computer Rental Professionals was created
in 1997. Our members are computer rental retailers and wholesalers
from across the United States who work together to provide a set of standards
for all members of our profession. Also, since having the right computer
equipment is critical to the success of every meeting, conference, and
tradeshow, we are developing a “Yard Stick” to help end users
plan, track, and measure results of service. This measurement
will be best met through the development of consistent certification programs
which are currently being developed by the AACRP Certifications Committee
with the goal of helping identify and create trained professionals to better
assist meeting planners and others.
Yearly conferences are held at various sites including Burlington, VT,
Boston, MA, and San Francisco, CA. Call our office for the most recent
schedules.
